A truly romantic scene: the planet Venus and the moon setting right above the San Juan river, along the road to the Monument Valley. Wonder, awe and sighs of joy.

I took this in the middle of the night on Ed and Frans balcony.
I loved both of the cats, but they were incredibly suicidal all the time.
They actually fought and chased each other on this railing, and as you can see its pretty damn fucking high. My heart always skipped a beat when I saw them doing this, but Ed told me its OK.

Here we go again, MacNeill’s posting photos of Lake Bled. If you said that, then I can’t fault you; it is Lake Bled again and from the same viewpoint as before. I decided to post this one as well, just because the colour changed so much during the sunrise. While the last image was profoundly purple, this one is abundantly blue. I’m guessing this was coming to the end of the blue hour, as I can see some colour from the rising sun just poking up over the horizon in the midst of the serene cyan.
Are you bored of this wonderful sunrise? Perhaps. I’m still going to post it though. I think I may show one more from here in future; the sun above the horizon. Then I shall have exhausted this particular location, although it has served me well. For those that don’t know, Lake Bled is in Slovenia and about an hour and a half north from the capital, Ljubljana.
You can see some more of the subtle details of this shot over at SmugMug. Failing that, try the lightbox. Thanks to everyone for getting me to #1 Explore again yesterday.Edit:

This Is London by TheFella on Flickr.Via Flickr:TheFella Photography | Twitter | Facebook | 500px | RedBubble | Website | Getty | Tumblr | Google+View on large on black please!
London is a fantastic city, especially at night. You’ve really got to get up high to appreciate it sometimes (I have Murphyz to thank for that). This is a fantastic view of London; you’ve got Waterloo and the Shell Centre straight ahead with the London Eye and the Houses of Parliament on either side. If you look carefully, you can also make out Battersea Power Station and Buckingham Palace in the distance.
This is definitely best viewed large (press L), but, and I don’t usually do this, even larger (huge file).
I’m off to a wedding tomorrow, so I won’t be online much. As usual, I’ll try and catch up when I’m back.No images in comments please.DetailsCanon EOS 5D Mark II / ISO 100 / f/8.0 / 17-40mm @ 40mm

Balaton Pier by TheFella on Flickr.Via Flickr:TheFella Photography | Twitter | Facebook | 500px | RedBubble | Website | Getty | Tumblr | Google+View on black please.
Living in London, I don’t get much change for seascape or semi-seascape photographs. I usually have to go to Napoli to get decent water shots, especially nice sunset ones, although sometimes you can make do with a river. Strange as it may seem, my latest water image is from a landlocked country - Hungary.
I was quite surprised at just how massive Lake Balaton is. It is the largest lake in Central Europe and 22nd largest in the whole of Europe, putting it several places ahead of Northern Ireland’s own Lough Neagh.
This photo was quick shoot while we tried to find somewhere to eat. Sadly, during these exposures, the waves shot up through the cracks in this lopsided pier and covered by lens in water drops. Had to do a bit of potatoshop magic to get rid of the marks.
I wasn’t too sure what daily photo to put up today, so my lovely followers on Twitter picked this one (without seeing it until now, might I add).
This looks much better larger and on black. (Press L)No group graphics or large images in comments please.DetailsCanon EOS 500D / ISO 100 / f/22 / 10-20mm @ 10mm
